we had a wonderful week with ben's family this past week. mom, dad, and daniel arrived on saturday and katy joined us on wednesday. we had a very relaxing time and loved being together. we spent most of our time (indoors due to the weather)
playing games (heartland, up and down the river, sevens, mario party, dominion, pinochle, etc.),
eating (pork tacos, beef tenderloin, baked oatmeal, tri-tip, baked french toast, etc.),
shopping (fresno, tulare outlets),
taking walks,
reading, making
starbucks runs (mostly mom and dad when they woke up two hours before the rest of us), and just
hanging out. here are just a few pictures of our time together.
all dressed up for a night on the town (dinner at tommy's)! this is the fireplace that ben built for our last play. we decided to put in our living room for Christmas. nice addition, don't you think?
it was sad that it rained for most of their visit, but it DID make the mountains nice and clear when it stopped! we decided to have a photo shoot in a local field. ben used the new tri-pod that he got for Christmas.
we're so glad they decided to come for a california Christmas! we had a great week.
